Browsing Pet does not sell, share or transmit any user data. It makes no network requests and contains no analytics, tracking or advertising.
Data handled on your device only
- User activity: mouse clicks and pointer movement on the pet, used to drag, throw, pet and feed it. Scrolling is detected only to stop automatic page scrolling. None of this is stored.
- Website content: page text and form field labels are checked to detect password, card and one-time-code fields, so the pet can hide on sensitive pages. Nothing you type is read, and no page content is stored.
- Saved progress and settings: your chosen pet, level, XP, treats, hunger, happiness, skin, a count of pages visited, tabs opened and active minutes, and your lists of blocked or allowed sites. These are stored with Chrome's local storage on your device.
Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its saved data.
